The history of the Masato Kitano shoe brand dates to 1889.

And then one of the imperial shoe makers being influenced by the trends in the Japanese society of trying a new direction in Western and avant-garde, left the country and set off to the city of London, known for its shoe-making tradition.

There he had the opportunity to continue his favorite shoe-making business, scrupulously absorbing English traditions and applying his extensive acquired experience in crafting luxury shoes.
